MapShare

Send a link, not a ZIP your client cannot open.

Point clouds, Gaussian splats, CAD and meshes in one coordinate-aware scene. Your client opens it in the browser — no install, no account.

100 GB included for the first year · software only

Storage is not a viewer.

Clients do not fail to receive the file. They fail to open and trust it.

A ZIP they cannot open

  • No preview for LAZ / E57

MapShare

A georeferenced link that works

  • Browser viewer — no client account
  • Layers stay in real-world coordinates
  • Annotate and measure in place
  • Embed in a report when you need to

Same model you delivered

Everything you captured, in one place

Layers from different tools line up in real-world coordinates, so the model your client sees is the model you delivered.

One coordinate-aware scene

Stack clouds, splats, CAD and meshes. Toggle layers, frame the landing view, keep everything georeferenced.

  • Point cloudLAZ / LAS / Potree
  • Gaussian splatPLY / SPLAT
  • CAD drawingDXF
  • Photogrammetry meshOBJ / GLB

Shared annotations

You and your client mark up the same scene. Pins and notes stay attached in 3D.

Measure in place

Pick two points and read the distance straight from the model.

Send a link, not a download

Publish a public project. Anyone opens the 3D viewer in a browser — no install, no sign-up.

Publish → copy link

Bring what you already export

Upload the files your tools produce. MapShare handles the rest.

Works with output from DJI Terra, SharePoint Clouds Studio and Photogrammetry exports.

From export to shared link

  1. Upload

Drop in your export. MapShare inspects the file and confirms the coordinate system.

  2. Compose

Layer clouds, splats, CAD and meshes into one scene, then frame the view clients land on.

  3. Share

Publish a link or embed the scene. Invite clients to view, annotate and measure.

Questions

What is MapShare?
MapShare is a web platform for presenting and sharing geo-referenced 3D data. It brings point clouds, Gaussian splats, DXF drawings and photogrammetry meshes into one coordinate-aware viewer that you share with clients through a link.
What file types can I upload?
Point clouds as LAS, LAZ or Potree, Gaussian splats as PLY or SPLAT, CAD drawings as DXF, vectors as GeoJSON, rasters as GeoTIFF, and meshes as OBJ or GLB — standard exports from DJI Terra, SharePoint Clouds Studio and most photogrammetry tools.
Do my clients need an account?
No. You publish a project to a public link, and anyone can open the 3D viewer in a browser with no install and no sign-up. You can also embed the scene in a report or website.
How does storage pricing work?
Start includes 100 GB free for the first year, then A$39/mo. Pro is 500 GB at A$79/mo (recommended). Archive is 2 TB at A$149/mo for long-term libraries. Clients stay free. Optional overage is A$0.12/GB/mo.
